This pretty girl already knows how to sit and fetch, she's pretty good on the leash, and she's housetrained too!
Always ready to meet a new friend, Ginger is very attentive and sensitive to corrections. She is a perfect candidate to go far with basic obedience training - she had a terrific start, but needs some serious work on not jumping up. We think her former housemates must have wanted her to jump, but the rest of her behavior is so nice, we're sure she can learn "off" very quickly.
She has shown us she's good with other dogs, and as a side note, she did not even react to a couple of the 'rougher' boys as she walked past their kennels.
She didn't test well with cats, and since she is still quite the jumper, we'll suggest grade school kids - but you'll want to be active - she'll thrive on directed exercise, not just hanging around the back yard.
