Hi, my name is Sherrie. I’m that perfect mix of loveable and spunky.
I was abandoned as a puppy and had to grow up at the shelter. I’ve lived here for two years, and I agree with the volunteers when they say that there’s really no good reason why.
I’m energetic and goofy, but I also love to cuddle, relax and curl up and nap next to someone.
I like car rides and while I’m a bit shy in the outside world, I know I would blossom once I left the shelter and had the chance to explore new places with someone I trust. I have gone on many fieldtrips to the park, beach and even downtown, and I always behave very well.
Another great thing about me, if I may say so myself, is that I like to play with other dogs. I have had many roommates (male and female), and I really like the companionship.
I have taken some obedience classes and am very attentive. I’d like to go home with an active family who will take me for daily walks (I also like to run, bike and hike) and is willing to take the time to let me gain their trust and build more confidence.
I promise I will be the best friend you ever had.
