George
Bulldog / Beagle Mix
Sex: neutered male
Age: 6 Years
Size: 50 lbs
Sweet, soft, gentle, low energy playful, social with people and dogs. George is housetrained, and crate trained. He has a chronic breathing issue because of a chronic inflammation of the arytenoid cartilage in his larynx. He has received medical treatment for this but will not need lifetime medications. Because of his breathing issues he cannot tolerate long walks or high energy activities or tolerate very hot conditions. And when he barks, no sound comes out. George walks nicely on leash. He is not leash reactive towards other dogs when out in public. He does need a few hours to adjust to another dog coming into his yard and home. He has been able to live with another dog in the home, as long as the other dog is respectful of his space and not rough and rowdy with him. George has not been around a cat, or small children.
